I was lucky to grow up by a beach and to have my house surrounded by woods. I spent hours playing in the woods after school and on the weekends. All children deserve to play and to spend time outdoors and in an urban environment like Chicago, nature play can be limited. Wonder Woods is the only forest program in the city that serves children up to 12 years old. Helping is finance a van will help us grow and develop program so even more kids can access nature and play.
