Oil and gas operators, midstreamers, petrochemical companies and export facilities along the Gulf Coast had begun evacuating personnel and curbing operations as Hurricane Laura took aim at southwest Louisiana/east Texas.

In the story California E&Ps, Industrials Step Up to Alleviate Pressure on Power Grid as Heat Storm Continues, California Resources Corp.’s load shedding contributions were misstated. The company said it reduced the electricity demand for its operations in the state by about 100 MW during peak hours by temporarily shutting in certain wells and operations. NGI regrets the error.

In the story California Cap-and-Trade Providing Billions to Utilities, the customer credits for Southern California Edison Co. (SCE) and Pacific Gas and Electric Co. (PG&E) were misstated. SCE customers received $74 in credits spread over April ($37), May ($18.50) and June ($18.50). PG&E credits were $71.46 between April ($35.73), May ($17.87) and June ($17.86). NGI regrets the errors.
