Ashley Dayeli and her family live in Montecristi. It stands out for its crafts made from paja toquilla, wicker, piquigua, and wood. The high quality paja toquilla are known worldwide as “Panamá Hats” and are famous inside and outside of the country.
Ashley Dayeli and her family buy and sell fish. They buy fish and fish scraps to take to the factories where they make food products. They go to the beach to buy and the deliver to the factories, working three times a week. She also has a small locale where she sells fresh fish by the pound. This loan is to buy fish and to pay for transportation and electricity, etc.
